Introducing Executive Chef Carl Henderson III
We could not be more excited this year as the Victorian Belle enters wedding season with numerous upgrades and luxe changes to give our guests an even more enchanting experience during special events, celebrations, and of course, weddings.
With wedding season upon us, we knew that one of our biggest challenges was going to be finding the right Executive Chef. We are sticklers for beautiful, delectable food, and we want the absolute best for our guests. We knew that our new chef would have to be extraordinarily talented as well as creative, aspirational, and adaptable. As Executive Chef, this individual would become a part of the Victorian Belle family – with every team member here completing an important aspect of our family tree. We found what we were looking for when we met and hired Executive Chef Carl Henderson III, and we are thrilled to introduce you to him!
Chef Carl previously held the Executive Chef position at Vancouver, Washington’s historic Grant House for four years. While he was a part of the Grant House team, he valued the historic integrity of the home, was proud of their personalized service, and was able to build lasting friendships with the other employees. During his esteemed career at the Grant House, Chef Carl honed his catering skills, created customized menus for guests, and designed recipes that put the Grant House Eatery on the map.
Executive Chef Carl Henderson III brings a positive attitude and his friendly, deeply-caring spirit to all that he does. Carl is dedicated to running a stress-free kitchen, and we believe you can tell each and every one of his meals is cooked with love for those he is serving, and a passion for the food. His specialties are too many to name, but we are especially fond of his slow-smoked meats, cooked on the Victorian Belle estate with our own Traeger smoker grills. The flavorful spiced sautéed dishes, house-made whipped cream and cookies, tangy glazes over mashed potatoes, and the endless array of handmade pasta sauces are also favorites. We haven’t tried a single bite out of the Victorian Belle kitchen that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy, and we think you’ll agree when you host your special event with the Victorian Belle.
Chef Carl truly enjoys working with our guests to create and execute customized catering menus, tailoring each event menu down to the last detail, and he looks forward to working with you.
